Who We Are

Hi, I’m Celia, founder and event coordinator of Gathered Well.

By training, I am an educator and program director with years of experience organizing people, managing timelines, and creating systems that help groups work together with clarity and care. Outside of my professional life, I am also a daughter, sister, partner, and proud member of a large close knit family.

I started doing this work out of love for my own family. I wanted us to have time to laugh, bond, and create core memories that would last forever. I wanted our gatherings to feel joyful rather than stressful, and I often found myself stepping into the role of organizer so everyone else could simply enjoy being together.

Over the years, that role expanded beyond my own family. I began coordinating baby showers, birthday celebrations, bridal showers, class reunions, and small group trips. Through my work in community spaces, I also helped plan and support cultural events, festivals, and gatherings that brought people together with intention and care. What began as a labor of love slowly became a passion.

Gathered Well was created to support Black families who want meaningful, organized, and drama free events. I bring structure, calm leadership, and thoughtful planning to every gathering so families can focus on what matters most: being together.

My ultimate goal is to set your family up with foundations so strong that my services are no longer needed in the future. When families have clear roles, shared responsibility, and a plan that works, gatherings become something to look forward to again.

What We Do

Gathered Well provides calm, structured coordination for family events. I act as the program director for your gathering, organizing people, timelines, and responsibilities so your family can focus on being present and enjoying the moment. From clarifying roles to managing details, I bring order, care, and follow through to celebrations that matter.
